The short term objective of the project is to develop the SAMExperience which is an international, digital, flexible and personalised learning experience for Sustainable Alliance Managers (SAM). The long term objective is to provide professionals with the necessary collaborative and green skills to create and manage sustainable alliances within SMEs in the manufacturing sector. The overall SAM profile development aims at fulfilling the SMEs need for sustainable intercompany growth.
Implementation
The project applies quantitative/qualitative investigation to define Sustainable Alliance Manager profile (SAM profile) further supported by close labour market validation with SMEs. Aligned with the SAM profile, the consortium will design a learning experience of collaborative-green skills providing personalised Learning Paths to the self assessed level of skills of each of the participants of the pilot in Spain, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, Poland (50 students/country).
Results
The project provides a methodology to train collaborative-green skills of Business Management/Engineering students to specialise them in the SAM role.
It will:
- decrease the high ratio of alliances failures in SMEs;
- help SMEs grow through intercompany collaboration and formalise the SAM role in their organisational structure;
- adjust the intercompany collaboration to the overall sustainability goals and sustainable development of SMEs.
