The registration process is conducted exclusively online by visiting the Esse3 Online Services Portal.
To enroll, you need:
- a device connected to the Internet;
- a valid form of identification (ID card or passport) to be uploaded to the ESSE3 portal in your personal profile;
- your tax ID number or health insurance card;
- high school diploma information;
- previous degree, if you need to request recognition of prior academic credits (a self-certification is sufficient);
- a valid email address;
- a digital photo to upload to the Esse3 Online Services Portal in their personal information;
- If you intend to opt for part-time status, Form A28 (which must be duly completed).
For the purpose of determining the annual all-inclusive fee (commonly known as “university tuition”), students who wish to have their household’s financial and asset status taken into account (to be certified through the ISEEU) must apply, following the procedures outlined on the INPS website in the section “How to Fill Out the DSU and Apply for the ISEEU” or at authorized agencies (CAF) to obtain the Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica (hereinafter DSU) and the accompanying ISEEU form for eligibility for university education.
Please note: Although the ISEEU and the DSU do not need to be uploaded to the Esse3 platform at the time of enrollment, in order to qualify for the tuition reduction, you must already have a valid ISEE for “University Education Benefits” (ISEEU) by November 30 of the current year, as the online system will automatically retrieve the ISEEU data, if available, from the INPS website.
If, at the time of enrollment and in any case by November 30 of the current year, no request has been made or no university-specific ISEE certificate has been found in the INPS database, the student will be placed in the so-called “NO ISEE” and will therefore be required to pay the maximum tuition fee (as indicated in Appendix 1 of the Tuition and Fees Regulations). Please note that ISEE certificates not intended for university studies will not be considered valid for the purpose of tuition fee reductions.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, enrollment in open-admission degree programs will take place exclusively online from August 27 to November 30, 2025, through the Esse3 Online Services Portal.
