Starting in the 2022–2023 academic year, according to the Ministerial Decree No. 930/2022, it is possible to enroll simultaneously in two degree programmes at the same university or at two different universities—one of which may be abroad—or at Italian or foreign institutions of higher education in the arts and music.
You may enroll in the following courses at the same time, up to a maximum of:
- two bachelor's degree programmes
- two master's degree programmes
- a bachelor's degree program and a master's degree program
- a bachelor's or master's degree program and a doctoral program
- a bachelor's or master's degree program, and a master's degree program
- a bachelor's or master's degree program and a non-medical specialization program
- two master's programs, provided they are not the same program
- a Ph.D. program and a non-medical specialization program
- a Ph.D. program and a medical residency program—in this case, Article 7 of Ministerial Decree 226/2021 applies
- a master's program and a non-medical specialization program
- a master's program and a medical specialization program.
If the enrollment involves two bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree programmes, these programmes must not belong to the same class and must differ in at least two-thirds of their coursework.
To enroll in the various levels of degree programmes, students must hold the academic credentials required by national law and university regulations.
If a student enrolls in two courses with limited enrollment (local and/or national), the student must be placed in a qualifying position on the rankings for both courses.
In the case of simultaneous enrollment in two courses, one of which has a limited enrollment (local and/or national), the student must be placed in a qualifying position on the ranking list for the course with the limited enrollment.
If one of the two degree programs requires mandatory attendance, students are permitted to enroll in a second degree program that does not require mandatory attendance, except programs in which mandatory attendance is required only for laboratory and internship activities.
Students who intend to enroll in a second degree program must submit a self-certification, prepared in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 445 of December 28, 2000, to verify their eligibility and the requirements for dual enrollment.
Upon enrollment, the student declares their intention to enroll in a different university program as well, self-certifying that they meet the necessary requirements.
This declaration must be submitted to both institutions.
The same declaration must also be submitted in the event of a change of program within the same university or a transfer between different universities.
Therefore, to register simultaneously, after verifying that you meet the requirements, you must:
- Download, fill out, and sign the request form;
- Access the Help Desk;
