Italian and foreign citizens who are not enrolled in university degree programs—even if they already hold a university degree—may enroll in individual courses and take the corresponding exam, receiving official certification upon completion.
Enrollment in individual courses may not exceed, per academic year, the standard concurrent enrollment limit of 6 exams, subject to payment of the fee indicated below:
Registration fee for each course selected: €180.00
The application for the individual course must be completed on the ESSE3 platform.
For students who are already registered on the ESSE3 platform, enrollment will be completed using their existing login credentials.
Students who are not already registered on the ESSE3 platform must register on the ESSE3 portal by following the instructions.
Upon completion of the registration process, a virtual stamp duty of €16.00 will be generated, which must be paid via the pagoPA platform.
You will then need to submit a ticket to the Student Affairs Office via the helpdesk platform, specifying the exams you need to take.
The registrar's office will then calculate the amount of the fees to be paid via pagoPA based on the number of exams indicated.
Enrollment in individual courses is valid for only one academic year, and fees paid are non-refundable.
Once credits have been earned, students may enroll in one of the degree programs offered by the University of Foggia under an abbreviated program. Students enrolled in an accelerated program who are enrolled in years beyond the first will not be eligible for the merit-based exemption, which is limited to the academic year of enrollment.
Enrollment in individual courses by international students
Students from foreign universities or higher education institutions, foreign students from EU member states regardless of their place of residence, and non-EU students legally residing in Italy who intend to enroll in one or more individual courses may enroll by submitting, within the prescribed deadlines, their university transcript or other document from the foreign university, translated and legalized (Article 39, paragraph 5, of Legislative Decree No. 268/1998).
Non-EU students residing abroad who wish to take one or more individual courses at the University may enroll, within the deadlines established annually by the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research (MUR), by submitting an application to the Italian diplomatic mission in their country of origin, which will forward the necessary documentation to the University, within the aforementioned deadlines, the necessary documentation.
