Once the State Examinations have been completed, candidates who have obtained their professional qualification and intend to register with the relevant professional register must contact the offices of the respective professional associations and request the documentation required for registration.
The University where the State Examinations were taken issues the following documents:
- Professional Qualification Diploma (parchment)
- Professional Qualification Substitute Certificate
- Stamped Certificate
State Certification Exams: Chartered Accountant, Accounting Expert, Statutory Auditor and Food Technologist
To request the Professional Qualification Diploma (parchment), applicants must submit to the Higher Education and Advanced Studies Unit a duty-stamped application, addressed to the Rector, using the designated form.

State Certification Exams: Surgeon and Dentist
To request the Professional Qualification Diploma (parchment), applicants must submit to the Unit for the Specialist Trainees Careers Management at the Biomedical Centre a duty- stamped application, addressed to the Rector, using the designated form. The completed form must be sent by email to: [email protected].
Stamp duty must be paid electronically, exclusively through the PagoPA platform.
The payment request is generated after the form has been submitted.
To obtain the Professional Qualification Diploma, two payments must be made:
Payment of €33.00 + €16.00 for stamp duty, to be made exclusively through PagoPA by accessing the personal Webesse3 page (Parchment Fee). The payment request is generated upon submission of the Professional Qualification Diploma request form.
Payment to the Regional Agency for the Right to Education (ADISU) where the degree was obtained. The amount varies from one Region to another (Professional Qualification Fee).
For graduates of universities located in the Apulia Region, the amount is €168.00 (Official Bulletin of the Apulia Region No. 54 of 7 July 2025) and must be paid according to the procedures indicated by ADISU Apulia.
Graduates of universities in other Regions must request information on the amount of the regional fee due and the relevant payment procedure, from the university where they obtained their degree.
Proof of payment must be attached to the Professional Qualification Diploma request form.
Please note: the Professional Qualification Diploma is not issued immediately, but is subject to the timeframes established by the competent Ministry.
At the request of candidates who have obtained a professional qualification to practise their profession, a single stamped certificate is issued, which temporarily replaces the original Professional Qualification Diploma for all legal and administrative purposes.

The Professional Qualification Substitute Certificate must be returned to the relevant Office when the Professional Qualification Diploma is collected. Therefore, the holder must use photocopies and retain the original, for any use.

To obtain the Duty-Stamped Certificate, applicants must submit an application on plain paper to the Higher Education and Advanced Studies Unit, addressed to the Rector, using the designated form. The completed form must be sent by email to: [email protected].

To obtain the Duty-Stamped Certificate, applicants must submit to the Unit for the Specialist Trainees Careers Management at the Biomedical Centre an application on plain paper, addressed to the Rector, using the designated form. The completed form must be sent by email to: [email protected]. Stamp duty must be paid electronically, exclusively through the PagoPA platform.
The payment request is generated after the form has been submitted.
Please note that, in order to request the Professional Qualification Substitute Certificate or the Duty-Stamped Certificate, applicants must first complete the requirements relating to the Professional Qualification Diploma (parchment).
In addition, the monetary amounts due for the professional qualification fee and the cost of the Professional Qualification Diploma must be paid after obtaining one’s professional qualification, regardless of whether a certificate request is submitted.
The Professional Qualification Diploma must be collected by the holder upon presentation of a valid id document. It may also be collected by another person, provided that they have been granted a proxy by the holder, upon production of a valid id document.
