Within the scope of international mobility for researchers, INPS provides a free tool for the totalization of insurance periods, which allows social security contributions accumulated in EU and non-EU countries that signed bilateral agreements with Italy.
Totalization allows these periods to be taken into account for pension entitlement purposes, without physically transferring contributions from one country to another.
