Criminal Proceedings, Constitution and Activist Jurisprudence

The Inter-University Winter School is aimed at PhD students, PhD holders, research fellows, and researchers in criminal procedural law. It aims to develop a common educational framework regarding the relationship between criminal proceedings and Activist Jurisprudence.
 

The Winter School will take place over four days of study, divided into six sessions, each of which will focus on a specific aspect of the selected topic.

The Winter School is organised by the University of Foggia in collaboration with the University of Catania, the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Trento, the Unitelma Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Insubria, the LUM “Giuseppe De Gennaro” University, the University of Salerno, the Giustino Fortunato Telematic University and the LUMSA University. Collaborations with the University of Sannio and the Guglielmo Marconi University are currently in the process of being formalised.
 

The administrative headquarters of the Winter School is the University of Foggia.
The Winter School activities will take place in Asiago, at the Town Hall, which has granted its patronage and will host the events. Food and accommodation expenses will be borne by the participants.
 

The course will take place from 30 January to 2 February 2025.
The training programme offers the participants an educational training programme, held during the afternoons of the indicated days, consisting of different and integrated formats, structured around lectures.

Attendance of at least 85% of the hours indicated in the teaching programme is compulsory.
At the end of the training activities, the participants will undergo a final, consisting of an essay on one of the topics covered during the lectures. 

The essay will be published in a collective volume, subject to its positive evaluation.

The Winter School is open to all those holding a master's degree in Law or a degree obtained under the regulations in force prior to Ministerial Decrees 509/99 and/or 270/2004 or an equivalent qualification.
 

A further admission requirement is enrolment in a PhD programme or a PhD title.
