The Level I Master’s Program in “Advanced Data Processing and Artificial Intelligence” is divided into 16 modules covering the following topics:

The Master’s program aims to train highly qualified professionals capable of managing and analyzing large amounts of data from various sources. These professionals will be able to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis, as well as develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support strategic decision-making. They will also be able to design and implement business intelligence systems to monitor business performance, automate processes, and solve complex problems through the application of machine learning techniques.
The master’s program also aims to train professionals capable of providing expert advice on the use of data and artificial intelligence to companies and public agencies, to contribute to innovation and the development of new solutions based on data and artificial intelligence, and to apply data analysis and artificial intelligence skills to improve the efficiency of public services and support the development of policies based on concrete data.

The master’s program lasts one year, for a total of 1,500 hours, corresponding to 60 academic credits (CFU), and will be structured as follows:

• In-person lectures: 176 hours (22 CFU)
• Online classes: 144 hours (18 CFU);
• Internship: 180 hours (12 CFU);
• Final Exam: 200 hours (8 CFU).

Attendance at the master’s program is mandatory. To earn the degree, each participant must attend at least 80% of the scheduled hours.
At the end of the training program, there will be a final exam, which will consist of writing a thesis on one of the topics covered during the course.

To be eligible for the Master’s final exam, candidates must submit a specific application (degree application), along with payment of the required virtual stamp duty (€16.00) and a fee of €49.00 (virtual stamp duty and diploma issuance fee) via the PagoPA system by accessing their personal page and navigating to the “Secretariat → Payments” section.
The degree to be awarded by the University of Foggia is a Level I Master’s degree in “Advanced Data Processing and Artificial Intelligence.”
This degree has academic standing and requires the completion of 60 CFU as part of the student’s academic program.

The master’s program is open to anyone who holds a first-level degree or a degree earned under the academic system in effect prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, or equivalent qualifications.
Foreign citizens who wish to enroll in the master’s program must comply with the provisions set forth in the MIUR circular, which can be viewed at Link and on the University's website at the following Link.
Interested applicants must apply for admission to the master's program exclusively online, through the Esse3 portal of the University of Foggia.
Online registration for the admission process will close, without exception, on November 10, 2025.
