Learning objectives
This Advanced Course is designed to provide theoretical and practical guidance on methods for fixed prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth, with a training and continuing education approach based on the latest scientific evidence. The course is therefore structured to cover all phases of the assessment and formulation of a prosthetic treatment plan, beginning with diagnosis and a comprehensive evaluation of the patient, through the fabrication of a temporary restoration and impression taking, up to the techniques for preparing a tooth. Part of the course will focus on “adhesive prosthetics,” covering the fabrication and cementation techniques for inlays and veneers. The course will also address the use of digital technology in the field of prosthetics and digital smile design. Furthermore, students will deepen the knowledge gained from lectures through hands-on exercises on extracted teeth and simulators.

- Lectures: 96 hours (16 CFU)
