The deadline for submitting applications for admission and simultaneous enrollment in the Advanced Training and Professional Development Course in “Over-Indebtedness Crisis Management” for the 2023–2024 academic year is March 7, 2024.
A reduction in the registration fee is available for members of the Union of Young Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Experts of Foggia and the Italian Association of Young Lawyers (AIGA), Foggia Chapter, amounting to €200.00 instead of €250.00 (in this case, members must complete and attach an additional self-certification form during the application process attesting to their eligibility).
Learning objectives
The course, organized under the auspices of the Foggia Bar Association, aims to train and/or provide continuing education for “Over-indebtedness Crisis Managers” in accordance with the fifth paragraph, subparagraph (d), and the sixth paragraph of Article 4 of Ministerial Decree No. 202 of September 24, 2014, thereby enabling them to register (or maintain their registration) in the Registry maintained by the Ministry of Justice.
Now in its second edition, the course is more timely than ever, given the substantial overhaul of the regulations governing the over-indebtedness crisis [previously contained in Law No. 3 of January 27, 2012, as amended by Decree-Law No. 179 of October 18, 2012 (converted with amendments by Law No. 221 of December 17, 2012)] by the legislature through the Code on Corporate Crisis and Insolvency, as set forth in Legislative Decree No. 14 of January 12, 2019, No. 14, which entered into force only on July 15, 2022, with the publication of Legislative Decree No. 83/2022 transposing the Insolvency Directive (Dir. 2019/1023) and was subsequently amended again in 2023. The objective of the course is therefore not only to train new Over-Indebtedness Crisis Managers but also to provide specific refresher training to managers already registered in the registry who were trained under the previous regulations.

This Professional Development and Continuing Education Course offers participants an educational and training program delivered through various integrated methods, structured as follows:
- Lectures: 20 hours
- 20-Hour Distance Learning Courses
Attendance at the course is mandatory for 100% of the hours specified in the course syllabus.
At the end of the training program, there will be a final assessment consisting of an interview designed to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the course.
Admission requirements
The Professional Development and Continuing Education Course is open to anyone who holds a master’s degree or a specialized degree, or a bachelor’s degree awarded under the regulations in effect prior to Ministerial DecreesMM. 509/99 and/or 270/2004 in law or economics, or equivalent qualifications.
An additional requirement for admission is registration with the professional associations of attorneys, certified public accountants and accounting experts, or labor consultants.
