General contents
The Level II Master’s Program in “Green Finance and Global Risk Management” is divided into 9 modules that will cover the following topics:
- Module 1 - “Sustainability Regulatory Compliance in the Financial Sector”
- Module 2 - “Sustainable Finance: ESG Factors”
- Module 3 - “Data Management and Analysis”
- Module 4 - “Global Risks”
- Module 5 - “Climate Change and Local Risk Management”
- Module 6 - “ESG Management in Banking and Business”
- Module 7 - “Machine Learning for Risk Forecasting”
- Module 8 - “Big Data Analytics and Green Finance”
- Module 9 - “Local Management of Global Risks”
Learning objectives
The Master’s program aims to provide a highly specialized educational track in the field of “Sustainability,” designed to equip students with unique skills and expertise in the design, identification, and evaluation of sustainability projects that align with the company’s mission and vision.
The course addresses deep-seated cultural needs that characterize the evolution of the real economy and sustainable finance and underpin the close relationships and mutual influences between these disciplines.
The professional activities of graduates of this master’s program will encompass all aspects of sustainability in the financial sector, ranging from the development of business plans and financing plans based on ESG criteria—to facilitate access to credit and enhance reputation—to financial risk management.
Organizzazione del corso
The master’s program lasts one year, for a total of 1,500 hours, corresponding to 60 academic credits (CFU), and will be structured as follows:
- In-person lectures: 114 hours (192 CFU)
- Distance Learning Courses: 84 hours (14 CFU)
- Laboratories: 30 hours (5 CFU)
- Internship: 150 hours (10 CFU)
- Final Exam: 300 hours (12 CFU).
Attendance at the master's program is mandatory. To earn the degree, each participant must attend at least 70% of the scheduled hours.

The degree to be awarded by the University of Foggia is a Level II Master’s degree in “Green Finance and Global Risk Management.”
This degree has academic standing and requires the completion of 60 CFU as part of the student’s academic program.
Admission requirements
The Master’s program is open to anyone who holds a single-cycle master’s degree in Law, Economics, Banking, Finance, and Insurance—or a degree earned under the regulations in effect prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99—or an equivalent qualification.
Admission is also granted to applicants who hold a master’s degree in a field of economics and law related to those mentioned above, subject to an evaluation by the Board of Trustees regarding the suitability of the applicant’s academic background for the master’s program, taking into account any relevant work experience.
