Student Reception

The University of Foggia offers students useful support to make a well-informed choice of study, through the advice of qualified staff. Students are guided to better identify personal attitudes and interests and guaranteed support to overcome any difficulties related to their integration into the university community. The student reception, aimed at all those who are about to become part of the unifg community, offers comprehensive advice (in-person and online), with a particular focus on the educational offer, the University services, and the procedures related to enrolment and registration.


 

Itinerant guidance

The university organises orientation meetings at upper secondary education institutes requesting them, to describe the educational offer, and more specifically the degree programme requirements and professional outlets, the services offered to students and the various benefits (scholarships, fee waivers, etc.). In addition, the itinerant guidance includes participation in thematic fairs and events organised at national and international level.


 

CPreparation courses for the ‘verification of initial preparation’ (V.P.I.)

The University of Foggia organises courses aimed at assessing students' initial preparation for admission to any open access degree programmes in accordance with Ministerial Decree 270/2004

Preparation courses for degree programmes with restricted access in e-learning mode

The University organises preparation courses in an e-learning environment, designed to enable those interested to access the service from home, having a desktop computer with Internet access. These courses are offered to make it easier for prospective students to pass the entrance tests for enrolment in degree programmes with restricted access in the medical field (Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Motor and Sport Activities Sciences and the degree programmes in the Health Professions) and those in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences. Such courses are also structured so as to ensure real time interaction with the lecturers giving the video lessons.

The physical presence of those registered is only required to introduce the service, as well as for the mid-term and final simulation tests.
