CNU - National University Championships

CNU 2022

After a two-year forced stop, the National University Championships (CNU is the Italian acronym) were back this year. The CNU is the most important and therefore most eagerly awaited sporting event for the entire national academic community.

The city of Cassino hosted the 75th edition of the CNU from 13 to 22 May 2022. This was the spring version of the university kermesse that every year involves all the CUSs of all the Italian universities.

Only the best CUSs competed with their students/athletes for access to the final stages of the twenty-five disciplines envisaged in the programme of the top university competition. There were about four thousand participants in the event organised by Cus Cassino, including students, coaches and experts.

With the same enthusiasm, Cus Foggia worked to better organise its participation in the spring competition in Cassino.

Managers and technicians were busy until May, searching for and selecting students/athletes enrolled at the University of Foggia. The aim was not only to participate but also to enable our youngsters to live a unique experience such as the Cnu2022.
