Submitting the Study Plan - 2022-23 Academic Year
Choosing the study plan for electives and optional subjects
The Study Plan for electives and optional subjects (one to be chosen from) for the 2022-23 Academic Year can be submitted from 1 October to 30 November 2022 - Valid for all departments (except for the departments of medicine).
Electives and optional subjects (respectively: ‘a scelta libera dello studente’ and ‘opzionali’) taken without having previously submitted the study plan or, in any case, not included in it, will be cancelled by the Student Administration Office.
With reference to the student's electives, within the framework of the degree programmes offered in their own department or in other university departments, students may choose the following activities:
- 6 cfu course units (CFU - crediti formativi universitari, i.e. the Italian university educational credits);
- Transversal competences;
- 2 cfu MOOCs, for a maximum of 6 cfu.
Under no circumstances may course units be chosen that cover identical content to course units or parts of course units already included in the curriculum. Otherwise, the request is rejected.
Please note that exams may only be taken after the semester when the chosen course units for the 2022-23 academic year start.
Any changes to the study plan may be submitted as of the academic year following that of submission (2023-24 academic year).
Students enrolled in First-Cycle Degree Programmes starting from the 2020-21 academic year may submit their Study Plan for the 2022-23 academic year, to define their electives and optional subjects (one to choose from), by making their choice directly from their personal page on the Esse3 online services portal (Menu → ‘Piano di Studi’ - ‘Study plan’ → ‘Piano carriera’ - ‘Study record plan’).
This choice can only be made after paying the registration fee for the new academic year (2022-23).
Students enrolled in First-Cycle Degree Programmes before the 2020-21 academic year may submit their Study Plan for the 2022-23 academic year, to define their electives and optional subjects (one to choose from), by filling in the paper form, and submitting it once through the Helpdesk. They shall select ‘SEGRSTUD-MODIFICA PIANO/ESAMI OPZIONALI’ (i.e. ‘Student Administration Office’ - ‘Changes to the Study Plan / Optional Subjects’) or ‘SEGRSTUD-MODIFICA PIANO/ESAMI A LIBERA SCELTA’ (i.e. ‘Student Administration Office - Changes to the Study Plan / Electives’) in the reason for the request.

Si ricorda che gli esami potranno essere sostenuti solo dopo il semestre di attivazione degli insegnamenti scelti per l’a.a. 2023/2024.
Le eventuali modifiche al piano di studi potranno essere presentate a partire dall’a.a. successivo a quello di presentazione (a.a. 2024/2025).
