The University of Foggia proudly announces the renewal of its prestigious HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) recognition by the European Commission, confirming its commitment to promoting an environment of excellence in research and enhancing human capital.

This quality label attests to the University of Foggia ongoing commitment to implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment, essential tools for ensuring transparency, equal opportunities, international mobility, and the professional development of researchers.

The renewal was the result of a thorough periodic review process, which included an on-site visit by European experts. In the EC Consensus Report, evaluators highlighted numerous strengths, expressing appreciation for the creation of a stimulating, inclusive and transparent research environment. In particular, the HR Strategy for Researchers and the actions already implemented in the action plan were judged to be fully compliant with international requirements for maintaining the HR Excellence in Research recognition.

The achievement of this important milestone confirms the University's full adherence to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, strengthening the scientific competitiveness of the University of Foggia at European and international level. HRS4R is not only a certificate of quality, but also a concrete strategy for continuous improvement, which encourages the professional growth of researchers and the quality of research.

Through specific policies aimed at supporting researchers' careers and creating stimulating, inclusive and collaborative working environments, the University of Foggia is consolidating its role as a research and innovation centre of excellence, promoting a culture based on scientific integrity, sustainability and international collaboration.

"The renewal of HRS4R recognition is a proud achievement and confirms the value of our researchers and the work of the entire University," stated Rector, Professor Lorenzo Lo Muzio. "I would like to thank the Rector's delegates to HR Strategy, Professor Wanda Nocerino, and to Research, Professor Massimo Conese, the Research Area staff who coordinated the entire administrative process, and all the staff whose daily dedication contributed to this success. Their great commitment is the true strength that allows the University of Foggia to grow, innovate, and maintain European standards of excellence. We will continue to invest in our human resources, promoting international mobility, professional growth, and the quality of research, key elements for addressing the future scientific and social challenges."

Thanks to this achievement, the University of Foggia will continue to be among the 751 European organizations and 22 Italian institutions currently holding this prestigious recognition. Having been the first university in Italy to achieve such certification in 2010, the University of Foggia consolidates its role as a European-level innovation and research hub, strengthening its ability to attract international talent and develop cutting-edge projects in the scientific, technological and humanistic fields.
