Cos'è il tutorato?

Il tutorato è un servizio finalizzato ad orientare ed assistere gli studenti, a renderli più consapevoli delle scelte e delle opportunità che gli vengono offerte, favorendone la partecipazione attiva in tutte le fasi del percorso formativo, a partire dal momento della scelta del corso di studio a quello del conseguimento del titolo di studio e dell'inserimento nel mondo del lavoro.

Il tutorato offre

sostegno per lo studente, lungo tutto il corso degli studi;
aiuto a rimuovere eventuali ostacoli per una proficua frequenza dei corsi e un'attiva partecipazione a tutte le attività formative ed extracurriculari.

I servizi di tutorato attivati presso l'Ateneo appartengono a due distinte tipologie

tipo informativo: vengono fornite informazioni su orari, programmi, scelte di indirizzo, definizione piano di studio;
tipo cognitivo: prevedono esercitazioni, seminari su argomenti selezionati, didattica interattiva in piccoli gruppi (10-20 studenti), corsi zero per meglio accostarsi a nuove o difficili materie, scelta del metodo di studio, simulazione di prova d'esame.

Le attività di tutorato vengono svolte da

docenti tutor afferenti a ciascun Dipartimento che hanno il compito di informare ed assistere gli studenti nei momenti di difficoltà legate alla scelta dell’indirizzo di studio, definizione del piano di studio, stesura della tesi, e in generale a tutte quelle problematiche a carattere didattico e che incidono sul buon andamento degli studi.
studenti tutores afferenti a ciascun Dipartimento selezionati con appositi bandi che hanno il compito di orientare ed assistere gli studenti, raccogliere e gestire dati e questionari, fornire supporto specifico ai corsi di studio più bisognosi di sostegno secondo le indicazioni del C.O.At., rimuovere eventuali ostacoli all’apprendimento delle materie di esame, fornendo un metodo di studio a quanti ne fossero sprovvisti/carenti, rimuovere eventuali ostacoli per una proficua frequenza dei corsi e un'attiva partecipazione a tutte le attività formative, anche mediante iniziative adeguate alle necessità attitudinali e alle esigenze dei singoli corsi di insegnamento, svolgere eventuali altre attività di orientamento e tutorato secondo le indicazioni della Commissione di Ateneo per il tutorato.

Le attività di tutorato più significative possono sintetizzarsi in

bandi per selezionare soggetti che possono esercitare attività di tutorato;
stage curriculari;
tirocini di adattamento per l'abilitazione alle professioni sanitarie, rivolto a studenti che hanno conseguito il titolo in Paesi comunitari e non comunitari;
organizzazione dei corsi di formazione start-up per gli studenti;
interazione delle attività tra le Commissioni di Facoltà e la Comitato di Orientamento di Atento (C.O.At.).

The purpose of tutoring is to guide and assist students, to make them more aware of the choices and opportunities offered to them, encouraging their active participation in all stages of their education, from the moment they choose their degree programme to the moment they graduate and enter the world of work.

Tutoring offers

support to students throughout their studies;
help to remove any obstacles to successful course attendance and active participation in all educational and extracurricular activities.

The University offers two different types of tutoring services

Informative tutoring: information is provided on timetables, programmes, and choice of degree programme, specialisation and study plan;
Cognitive tutoring: this includes tutorials, seminars on selected topics, interactive teaching in small groups (10-20 students), zero-level courses to better approach new or difficult subjects, choice of study method, and exam simulation.

Tutoring activities are carried out by

Tutor teachers belonging to each department, who are responsible for informing and assisting students facing difficulties in choosing their degree programme and specialisation, as well as the study plan, or in drafting the thesis work, or, more in general, facing any educational problems affecting the smooth progress of studies.
Student tutors pertaining to each department, who are selected through specific calls for applications. Their tasks are to:

guide and assist students;
collect and manage data and questionnaires;
provide specific support to the degree programmes most in need of support according to the instructions of the University Guidance Committee (C.O.At.);
remove any learning obstacles, by helping those who do not have/lack a study method to pick one;
remove any obstacles to profitable course attendance and to active participation in all educational activities, also through initiatives tailored to the aptitude requirements and needs of individual courses;
carry out any other guidance and tutoring activities based on the instructions of the University Commission for Tutoring.

The most significant tutoring activities can be summarised as follows:

calls to select individuals to carry out tutoring activities;
curricular internships;
internships for admission to health professions, aimed at students who have obtained their qualifications in EU and non-EU countries;
organisation of start-up training courses for students;
joint activities between the Faculty Committees and the University Guidance Committee (C.O.At.).
