Research

The Department of Scientific and Technological Research and Development manages and coordinates the relationships with Enterprises, Ministerial and EU Agencies, CIRP, CRUI, Consortia, Associations and Territorial Bodies for the promotion of joint initiatives in research.

The Department is also committed to searching and diffusing information about funding opportunities for research, and to providing technical support to the draft and submission of research projects as: FAR, FIRB, ex 40%, PON; POR, bilateral joint projects, VII Framework Programme.

The Department supervises, inter alia, the process of allocation of University funds for Research; it drafts regulations, research calls and forms, and offers technical assistance to patent the results of the University of Foggia research and to create academic spin-offs.
