Industrial Liaison Office

The University of Foggia has also arranged a service which aims to promote the self-entrepreneurship of its students. The Industrial Liaison Office is situated within the Research Department and promotes the creation of spin off companies (businesses which are developed by a group of students or researchers as a result of a technological demand stimulus in the market). The University of Foggia ILO can help students and researchers to promote the applicative development and protection of innovative ideas through patent instruments. The Research Department also takes care of activities linked to funds available for scientific research and the procedures to follow; strengthening support to scientific structures for the coordination of research activity, in particular at a European and international level; the development of research activity and the promotion of its results; the promotion and fulfilment of those initiatives aimed at increasing research funds from the outside.
